Our capacity for love
If we define love as the manipulation of relationship so it lives up to our well-thought through images of how it should be, we only have so much love to give. Manipulation quickly exhausts and saps our energy. To compensate, we need to have routines that reenergize our constant depletion and we need to make sure we limit the people we love.
If we define love as the oneness of silent presence, we experience love that gives rather than takes endless energy. We experience love that knows no limits.
