Productive waiting
Waiting is a fact of life. We wait in line, on hold, for people to get back to us, for traffic lights to change, for parking spaces to open up, for solutions to appear, for consensus to be built, for projects to move forward.
What is unproductive waiting … and what is productive waiting?

Shalom Jack,
Unproductive waiting is waiting where we find ourselves wishing for the end of the waiting.
Even if we are in a hospital waiting room wishing for the waiting to end because a loved one is in some danger, I think we are allowing precious time to disappear.
Our wishing it were so cannont speed time away. Better to be in the moment, to examine ourselves, to accept each tick of the clock.
B’shalom,
Jeff
