The more leadership coaching I do, the more it becomes clear that being an appreciative leader is all about discovering what people’s abilities are, and look for opportunities where we can engage these abilities in ways that have positive impact.
The most masterful leaders are even skilled enough to see the valuable and engage-able abilities of people that others have aleady written off because of their lens constraints.
