Uh, have you heard about those people who spend a year or two trying to do without toilet paper? See the permalink to the NYTimes at http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/22/garden/22impact.html?ex=1333944000&en=60ab22edece6e392&ei=5124&partner=permalink&exprod=permalink

When it comes to sustainability, we have to ask ourselves, How much is enough?

Yes Tim, I saw the recent article and anything can be done in the extreme. That’s why some people like Buddhism because it’s the “middle way.”

Jack - that is a fine list. I am moving toward it but have not made as much progress on it as you have. I commend you and thank you for the example you are setting. My main focus right now is to just not use as much stuff … clear out the junk I have acquired and be very careful about what new things I let into my material world. And as part of that if there is something I have that I am not using I am trying to move it out of my world and into someone else’s that can use it.

    Namaste.
