Soft/hard
Now that we have soft and hard product launches and other versions of technological and cultural flexibility, we should expand our language to things like soft and hard opinions and options. Is that a soft or hard yes? Is that a soft or hard decision? Is that a soft or hard start/stop time? The distinction opens up all kinds of new possibilities in fuzzy logic. And for times when we’re in transition between states of discernment, there is always “al dente.”
