Gratitude & greed

Filed under: Appreciative living — Jack Ricchiuto @ 12:46 pm

Greed never has enough, is always lacking no matter how much it has. Greed’s constant is the duality of feeling as poor as it is rich, its eye constantly on what it doesn’t have except for the moments of respite in the victory of attainment. When greed becomes enlightened from the physical realm, it moves to the spiritual realm with equal fervor, but yet exactly the same existence, ultimately having everything except for one thing, the only thing it ever lacks.

Gratitude.
