from the early dews of grass,
blink dusk greetings.
July fireflies liberated
from the early dews of grass,
blink dusk greetings.
After billions of years,
dew appears, then disappears
into this morning’s sun
In the pregnant silence of snow,
spring stirs
in the womb of winter.
If you want to know
who your real friends are,
be seen, as you are.
winter mountain draws
a blanket of sepia landscape
over itself, asleep
